Lung ultrasound is a highly effective method of examination that is an affordable and safe alternative (there is no radiation exposure) to computed tomography. With the help of chest ultrasound, it is possible to detect the fluid and changes in the lungs, characteristic of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease and other types of pneumonia. Now, you can have the lung ultrasound in our medical center. Symptoms that are indications for this ultrasound:
- pain in the chest;
- wheezing;
- shortness of breath;
- prolonged cough (dry or with sputum);
- blood in phlegm;
- chest injuries;
- suspicions of different tumours in the lungs.
