Minimally invasive perineoplasty using absorbable threads is a radically new solution in restorative therapy of vaginal tissue.

Indications for the procedure include the following:

  • deformation of the perineum;
  • enlargement of the genital hiatus;
  • discomfort during sexual intercourse;
  • decreased sexual satisfaction;
  • increased frequency of vaginal infections;
  • age-related changes;
  • postpartum recovery of the pelvic floor muscles.

The perineum (pelvic floor) maintains the level of intra-abdominal pressure and prevents descent and prolapse of female internal genital organs. Various factors that lead to widening of the vaginal opening (in particular, vaginal delivery) can cause genital prolapse in the future.

A modern minimally invasive method of vaginal tightening will help prevent this problem.

This service is available at Berehynia Medical Center after consultation and examination by a gynaecologist.
